Class Descriptions
Pilates
A gentle controlled workout that concentrates on core conditioning. It improves posture, core stability and will strengthen and tone your muscles.
Aerobics
Step Aerobics is a fun and challenging exercise -to-music class which uses an optional 6" or 8" step to add variety and intensity to the moves. Moves are joined together to form routines and options are given to make the exercises easier or harder, according to participant's level of fitness and ability. The class is suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness and music speed ranges from 125 bpm to 140 bpm ass includes a 5 minute warm-up, 35-45 minutes of cardiovascular stepping, followed by some strength training for the abdomen and other muscle groups, finishing with a relaxing cool down stretch.
Legs, bums & Tums
The perfect class for toning up those areas in need! This class will take you through a warm up followed by many exercises to target the legs, bum and tummy! Come along every Wednesday to take part.
Circuits
A class incorporating a number of exercises - using a combination of free weights and body weight exercises. This class is sure to get you fighting fit!
Zumba
Zumba combines Latin and International music with dance in an effort to make exercise fun and effective. If you enjoy dancing then Zumba is the class for you.
Fitness Yoga
A conditioning workout that is based on the principles of Yoga. This will balance the body, mind and spirit with a combination of exercises that stretch and reshape your body.
